Simon had always been fascinated by the workings of the mind - especially when it briefly failed. When perusing a course catalog for his school, he was momentarily very excited to see a course in derpetology - but disappointed when a second glance revealed it was actually herpetology. Reptiles just weren’t as interesting as smart people doing stupid things.
