fridgadox
noun
The ethical dilemma of splitting leftovers.
Antoon opened his mouth and then closed it again, unsure how to phrase his request. Yesterday, he and his roommate had split the cost of the pizza 50/50, so fairness dictated that each should get one of the two slices that now remained. Yet Antoon was hungry enough for both slices now, and the pizza would only be good for so long, and the roommate had just fixed himself a sandwich for lunch… it was clearly a moment of fridgadox.
