Urman Dictionary

quadin

noun

The anxiety or defensiveness that arises when interacting with someone who is oversharing or otherwise being overly familiar.

Mingling at a dinner party, Jed found himself a few minutes into a conversation with an individual who didn’t let the fact that they were near-strangers stop him from sharing intimate details of his current relationship. Jed couldn’t fully stifle the quadin this made him feel, but resisted the urge to snap at his conversational partner or simply retreat and instead politely changed the subject.
